Description
Meher is a study in quiet opulence — cut from featherweight lilac-mauve tissue silk that shifts between silvery lilac and dusty mauve as it catches the light. A cloth that glows rather than shines.
The ankle-length kurta carries fine antique-champagne zardozi: a hand-worked placket of couched thread and minute beadwork, deep trellis cuffs, and a delicate concentric border following the softly curved hem corners, each crowned with an upright kalka paisley. Plain wide-leg trousers and a scallop-edged sheer dupatta in the same tissue complete the set — drape it over the shoulders for occasion, or wrapped once at the neck for a modern line.

A note on colour
Lilac-mauve is a two-tone shot colour and it moves more than most — silvery and cooler in daylight, dustier and warmer under indoor and evening lighting, and it shifts again depending on how the fabric falls. No two screens render it identically, so the tone you receive may read pinker or greyer than it appears here. If the exact shade matters for your occasion, message us before ordering and we will describe it honestly.

Measurements are of the garment, taken flat and doubled, in inches. Length is measured from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem. Meher is a relaxed straight cut — if you are between sizes, we recommend sizing down.
